Only one session took place on Day Three at New Road, after a long rain delay for the majority of the day. Middlesex were eventually able to add another 92 runs before the close of play.
Middlesex took enjoyed a prosperous second day at New Road, which included Helm taking 5-36 with the ball. A Malan century and Gubbins with 72 then gave Middlesex a commanding lead going into Day Three.
