The income streams of Middlesex in the Community are currently dominated by Grants from our largest stakeholders – The England & Wales Cricket Board, Chance to Shine, Lord’s Taverners and ACE.
Without these grants we wouldn’t exist and, understandably, they come with a commitment to deliver programmes and projects prescribed by the stakeholder. Examples of this are:
Middlesex has a population of approx. 4.5 million people, which makes it, after Yorkshire and Lancashire, the third most populated county in the country. We deliver an enormous amount with the grants received from those named above, but there is so much more we can and want to do, and we want to do it.
So, what will allow us to do more?
It is simple - Funding.
With greater funding we will be able to deliver more of the potential life-changing work that we already provide.
For the initial 18 months of Middlesex in the Community’s existence we have been focused on establishing and stabilising the organisation. During this period our performance has improved considerably. We will always look to improve but we have now, hopefully, attained and are maintaining a level of performance that allows us to expand what we have to offer.
Growth, however, can only be achieved through increasing our turnover, which, you guessed it, will only happen through fundraising.
There are already many individuals who support the vital work we do, and we thank them enormously for their generosity.
And we would like you to join those already involved in supporting the outstanding work we do.
There are a number of ways in which you can do this.
